Then I'm here, whenever you decide. (Well, unless I disappear. In that case don't ask any of the resident X-Geeks for coping mechanisms, except for Kurt.)
It wasn't really on purpose that time, but I can't say I won't end up pushing boundaries. It's kind of ingrained at this point. (...That, and the temper.)
yeah haven't really done much in the way of reaching out to any of them we don't know each other or know some different version and it's not like we're friends or bat for the same team not that i have a team anyways
but thanks i guess
you're supposed to be one of the good guys shouldn't go looking for trouble that's more my style
Maybe you should give it a shot. All those lines mutants have drawn between ourselves don't mean much in a place like this.
What exactly were the X-Men in your universe, a knitting circle? (And if so I'd like to visit because I was the only one on the original team who could sew worth a damn.)
Honestly, Erik and Charles have more in common than they like to admit. The X-Men, the Brotherhood - we mostly wanted the same things, we just always disagreed on how to go about it. I've known my share of people who've switched sides more than once. (...Erik included, actually, but I'm never around for that.)
Do you want to talk about what's changed, for you?
being here for over a year and out of the whole human vs. mutant thing not that i like humans or anything i guess it's just not so much in my face as it was back home, you know? here, people don't really care that you're a mutant which is how it should be
but then instead they care about whether or not you've got a stripe down your throat so guess it's still the same in some regard
magneto also has a way of making you feel special when he needs you and when he doesn't he's not against leaving you in the dust even if he's known you for years and someone you thought he was close to
People who have power and want to keep it at any cost, they always always find something to divide people with. Or engineer it themselves.
Erik likes to think putting the cause - or his very narrow definition of it - before everything else makes him noble. A lot of the time it just makes him cruel to the people who needed him most.
[ He didn't know Wanda and Pietro were his children, so long ago, but they were young and desperate and afraid and she's never quite forgiven him for how he used that, instead of mitigating it. ]
mystique she took a shot for him got hit by "the cure" turned her human he just ditched her because she wasn't one of us anymore kind of thought that was cold considering their history and all
